The little brass button feels substantial and the install was straightforward. It’s a clean solution for controlling my wall sconce directly.

I wanted an on/off switch right on the sconce instead of fumbling for the wall dimmer, and this does the trick. The brass button has a nice solid click, though it does add a quarter inch to the backplate, so measure your clearance first.

The little brass push button feels surprisingly solid, not flimsy like I expected for fifteen bucks. It added about a quarter inch to my wooden backplate, which I'd read about beforehand and planned for. Now I can finally switch the sconce without reaching for the wall switch across the room.
