Installed it over our kitchen island and the combination of the hardwood canopy with the spun metal shade gives it a really clean, modern look. The light from the opal glass is soft enough that it doesn't glare while I'm prepping food.

The opal glass globe throws such a warm, even light that the whole room feels softer at night. I was also pleasantly surprised by how smooth the hardwood canopy looks against our ceiling, it really ties the whole piece together.

The spun metal shade feels substantial and perfectly complements the soft glow from the opal glass globe. Installed it over our dining table and the diffused light is exactly what we needed for evening meals.
