I needed a longer drop for my ceiling fan, and this extension rod fit perfectly with the original fixture. The threading was clean and screwed on without any hassle.

Added the extension when I bought my pendant light and it matched the finish perfectly, no color mismatch at all. The extra length was exactly what I needed to drop it over the kitchen island instead of the standard height. Glad I grabbed it at the same time as the fixture like the description says.

Bought this rod extension along with my new fixture and it fit perfectly. The extra length made the pendant hang at exactly the right height over my kitchen island.
